Formed by Peter Evans in 2017, Being & Becoming is a vibrant fusion of genre-defying talent. Featuring Joel Ross, Nick Jozwiak, and since spring 2025 Tyshawn Sorey, this powerhouse group has released two groundbreaking albums and toured major festivals across the U.S. and Europe, constantly reinventing itself. They recorded their latest album at the legendary Rudy Van Gelder Studio, released on Peters own Imprint More Is More Records in November 2025.
