We’re very honored that The Broad Museum asked Minaret to curate some performances for their Smog Check Thursdays series. Henry Solomon & Fuensanta will both be performing 15 minute improvised acoustic sets from 7 to 7:30pm. Attendance is free with RSVP.

More on the event: Smog Check Thursdays are topical events at the museum in anticipation of an exhibit this spring called Desire, Knowledge and Hope (with Smog), featuring 21 local artists reflecting on LA as a city in flux and turmoil, and on societal issues that extend far beyond the city

For his debut headlining show in LA, Kassa is bringing a full band featuring Ian Finkelstein, Morgan Guerin, Bendji Allonce, and Giulio Xavier Cetto. He’ll be performing cuts from his new album ANIMALS, out May 26th on Warp Records.

Guitarist & vocoderist takoda opens up with his dynamic trio featuring Luke Titus & Jonathan Huber, & we have Detroit producer/DJ Black Noi$e on the ones and twos, lacing the night with tracks before & in between sets.
