takoda is a guitarist, vocoderist, & producer native to Santa Ana and currently based in Los Angeles, where is he on scholarship at Cal Art’s jazz program.
takoda has released three bodies of work on Minaret so far. Starting off with a short debut EP Place for Them (12.18.20), featuring Henry Solomon & Logan Kane, followed by Die in the Process (9.8.21), a collaborative beat-tape with San Antonio, TX beatmaker/producer/keyboardist 40hands.
His latest project is a solo project called Foglake Forever, exploring the bizarreness/intricacies of grief following the tragic passing of a close friend. Released May 18, 2022.
